Living Fountain Dance Company’s List of Services

1.      Special Performances
As our schedule allows, the dance company is available to do mini-concerts or single pieces during regularly scheduled special events (Sunday Morning Church Services, Evening Mass, Arts Festivities, Corporate Functions, and Special Parties).  These can be used as previews for full-length concerts or stand alone performances.

Financial Arrangements
Fee for a special event is based on the number of actual pieces performed.  If one number is to be performed at a corporate, liturgical, or arts special event, the minimum fee is $250 for our Senior Company and $200 for our Junior Company.  If more than one number is to be performed, the LFDC director will negotiate a fair price that covers company costs and is affordable to your group as our sponsor.

2.      Concerts
General Concert
A performance by Living Fountain is usually 90 minutes in length and includes a 15 minute intermission.  For an additional fee, we can collaborate with artists or musicians for customized experiences.  Ask if this is a current option.

Financial Arrangements
There are real costs involved in presenting a concert with a high standard of excellence.  These costs include: Costuming, publicity materials, mailing, office supplies, storage rentals, travel rentals & expenses, sound and lighting costs, and honorarium for the hours of rehearsals accrued in a production.  Our budgeted expenses to produce a typical concert averages $800 for our Senior Company and $650 for our Junior Company.  The following are options a sponsor has of providing this amount.  We can help you determine which method works best for your event.
  • Honorarium
  • Ticket Sales - If this method is used, the first $800 should come directly to LFDC.  The remaining sales should be divided between LFDC and the sponsor as discussed prior to signing the agreement.
  • Suggested donation made at the door - the size of your auditorium affects the amount suggested.
  • Free Will Offering - The size of your audience will affect the success of an average free will offering.  An audience size of at least 200-250 adults is usually needed to reach our estimated financial goal.  The sponsor could help make up any difference between the amount collected and LFDC’s need.

The $300 retainer fee is allocated to the company’s travel expenses for your event, and is considered a deposit towards the $800 Senior Company concert or $650 Junior Company budgeted expense.  Any costs for promotions, lodging, and meals for Living Fountain personnel is over and above the minimum need requirement, and is the responsibility of the sponsor.

If these amounts go beyond you organization’s current means consider these creative suggestions:
  • Co-sponsor the concert with another church or organization and share the responsibilities of hosting the event.
  • Have donations made in exchange for blocks of space in the concert program (8 spaces at $100 and you are already there).
  • Research grants, budgeted missions or outreach funding, annual arts series funding found in pre-existing church budgets, or donations from individuals and businesses of financial means.
  • Dialogue with us in creating other solutions.

School Assembly
Living Fountain is available to come in to public, charter, or private schools to provide assemblies.  Our group will compliment your curriculum, character teaching, or be art for art’s sake.

Financial Arrangements:
We understand that some schools will arrange grants to provide a dance experience and others will fund-raise.  The following are prices set forth which demonstrate our desire to be charitable and serve in educational settings.  A school assembly between 20 and 40 minutes in length is priced at $300 for our senior company and $250 for our junior company.

3.      Workshop Classes or Lectures
Workshops taught by Living Fountain staff are available for preschoolers through adults (trained and untrained dancers).  These can be scheduled in conjunction with a concert or by themselves as our calendar allows.  Workshops offered include: Modern Dance, Ballet, Improvisational Technique, Creative Worship, Hip-Hop, Princess Camp, The Elements, Choreography, and Jazz Dance. Lectures offered are: Creative Infusion, Arts and the Model of the Temple, Salt & Light, Discussions on the profound power of Art, Partnering Arts & Education, and Elemental Artspiration.  Optional: arts demonstration can be included for lectures.

Financial Arrangements:
Fee is $10 per student per class with a minimum of 15 students per class.  For every 10 students registered, the sponsor may include 1 scholarship student.  The sponsor is responsible for the cost of lodging and meals for LFDC personnel.  Master Classes can be booked separate from a concert booking.  Contact us for more information on this option.

4.      Seminars
One or two-day arts seminars include classes in dance and one other arts discipline.  These are customized to meet the specific needs of your group, and could include addition professional guest artists.  Other art forms can include: Music, Dramatic Arts, Poetic Arts, and Visual Arts.  A seminar can be offered with a concert or can stand alone as our calendar allows.

Financial Arrangements:
Cost is $40 per day, per participant.  If booked with a concert a minimum of 30 participants are required.  A minimum enrollment of 50 participants is required to book a seminar without a concert.  The sponsor is responsible for the cost of lodging and meals for LFDC personnel.

5.      On-going Custom Designed Arts Programming
If it is time to train and nurture the artists of your community, Living Fountain is a resource.  Our philosophy to NURTURE, EQUIP, and RELEASE will set a strong foundation for a long-lasting and effective arts program, school, or academy on your campus.

Financial Arrangements:
Living Fountain is a 501(c)3 Arts Organization.
a.       A Living Fountain Satellite Program ~ Students pay Living Fountain directly.
  • Dance and Theater: the class fees are $5 for 30 minutes and $9 for 1 hour of lessons.  A class minimum of 5 students is required.  Classes are packaged in 6-10 week sessions.
  • Private Music or Acting Lessons: the class fees are $10 for 30 minutes and $20 for 1 hour lessons.  Classes are packaged in 6-10 week sessions.
  • Visual Art Classes: the class fees are dependent upon materials however; an average “make-it-take-it” class would cost the student $10-$12.
b.      An Artist in Residence ~ Living Fountain can provide you with visual artists, dancers, musicians, actors, and actresses to meet your needs.
c.       A Resident Arts Coordinator ~ Students pay your campus directly for Private Music or Theater Lessons, Dance Lessons, Art Lessons, and group Theater Lessons.  The class prices are set by your organization.  The instructor is paid $12 an hour for a minimum of 20 hours a week (some of the hours could include teaching).  The resident arts coordinator would develop programming, engage volunteers, and hire additional sub-contractors for the above described classes when needed. It is possible to also engage this coordinator to assist with arts marketing according to your guidelines.  When considering a resident arts coordinator there must be a strong partnership developed between your organization’s existing arts providers and the coordinator we’re providing.

Artists for Cultural Exchanges
Because Living Fountain is devoted to using the arts for communicating from the inside-out, we will research a culture, prepare a production and travel.  It is only by connecting person to person that we communicate love and peace.  Artists have defined cultures.  Engaging Living Fountain in a cultural exchange will bring definition to you, your team, your community, and Living Fountain.  Everytime we go, we leave a piece of our heart.  Everytime we come home, we bring a piece of someone’s heart with us.
