Living Fountain Dance Company Closed

The work of Living Fountain Dancers continues through various projects.  Our hope is to dedicate this website as a portal to those dancers.  Check back in 2011!

Fazoli's Fundraiser

The Living Fountain is holding a fundraiser at Fazoli’s in Belden Village, from May 10th through May 24th. If you visit the Belden Fazoli's location any time during these dates, 15% of the proceeds of your purchase will be donated to the Living Fountain.

As many of you know, we have decided to close the Living Fountain at the end of May, to release our students, staff and board to pursue new opportunities. This final fundraiser is for the purpose of offsetting debt that is still on our books. The bulk of the debt is for compensation for staff members who did not accept payment when finances became tight. Your participation in this fundraiser will help us to close that gap and will rightly compensate our staff for the skills and experience that they provided to the students and greater community.

You must bring a copy of the coupon with you in order for the Living Fountain to receive credit. Please do not pass out the coupons on the Fazoli's property. Any other means of distribution to your friends and family is welcomed and encouraged.

Living Fountain Update

(January 2010)

I would like to begin this letter by thanking you for being involved with Living Fountain.  We are so happy that you are a member of this organization and we appreciate your support.  You are so valuable to us.

After this school year is completed (May 29, 2010), there will be some changes occurring and I wanted you to know about these changes right away so that you can plan accordingly.

My husband and I have been praying about where the Lord is leading us next.  After much contemplation and prayer, I have decided to resign from my position as director, starting in June 2010.  I feel so blessed by my time as director of LFDC.  I know that God has used the organization to reach many people and I am honored that I have been able to take part in it.

I have talked with the Board of Directors about my decision and we feel that the Lord is leading us to close LFDC starting in June 2010.  We see this as a wonderful opportunity to release the LFDC dancers to take what they have learned from LFDC and share it with others.  The mission and dream of LFDC can continue through each member.

We are so excited about this transition.  As with any change, we feel sad for an ending, but hopeful for what is to come.  This will be a new beginning for each of the dancers, as they start their own journey.  We know that the Lord has everything under control.  He is directing our plans and with Him in control we have nothing to fear.

Update from Alumni

I'm back in the Cleveland area after doing holland america cruise lines. I teach a lot at Lisa's School of dance in Streetsboro. I have danced for a lot of the companies in the Cleveland area and will be dancing with Verb Ballets for the upcoming season. Currently looking at master programs...and relocating....somewhere warm maybe.
